Ashley Yunker, Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist
Hi there! I’m Ashley — a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with a passion for helping you find balance, peace, and confidence in your relationship with food.
With over six years of experience in the eating disorder field, I’ve worked in everything from inpatient treatment centers and behavioral healthcare to outpatient private practice. Now through Aloe Nutrition Counseling, I focus on personalized, weight-inclusive care to help you feel at home in your own body—without fear, guilt, or restriction.
My approach is compassionate, science-backed, and a little bit fun. Whether you’re looking for guidance on intuitive eating and meal planning or just someone to help you navigate the tricky world of nutrition, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I offer a non-judgmental space and strive to meet clients where they are, wherever that may be, to work towards sustainable changes. I really enjoy my work in this space and consider myself a HAES-aligned, neurodivergent friendly, LGBTQ+ ally, non-diet dietitian.

I have two dogs, Mona and Ellie, that are the sweetest girls. They love sun bathing, barking at the neighborhood kids, and peanut butter.
I read a lot (mostly fantasy) and love to hear about my clients’ latest reads. I also enjoy playing video games, usually in the cozy genre.
I always need a latte in the morning to start my day.
I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees and my dietetic internship at Northern Illinois University. Go Huskies!
